On his last day visit to the poll-bound state Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi addressed a public gathering in Ramdurg.
Addressing people the Congress president said that PM Modi promised schemes like Stand Up India and Beti Bachao but these promises has not been met.
The leader claimed that UPA Govt spent 35,000 crores for MGNREGA and this is the same amount spent by BJP Govt for one single Tata Nano factory.
Rahul Gandhi said,”Our schemes are for farmers, laborers, and millions of marginalised but the BJP’s schemes are only for a few specific rich industrialists.”
“I, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, and the entire party will stand with you and will work for you,” he added.
The Congress Vice President also sought blessings at the Godchi Temple, Ramdurg.
In Sunnal of Karnataka, Rahul Gandhi interacted with local farmers.
