BJP still muddled in Himachal CM’s name, Supporters Raise Slogans for Dhumal

BJP observers Nirmala Sitharaman, Narendra Singh Tomar and party in-charge for Himachal Mangal Pandey on Friday(22nd December) held a meeting with RSS leaders in Shimla to decide Chief Minister for the state.

BJP won the majority seats in Himachal Pradesh assembly elections but the Chief Ministerial Candidate Prem Kumar Dhumal lost his Sujanpur assembly seat to Congerres’s candidate Rajinder Rana.

Now a peculiar political drama is taking place in Himachal Pradesh as the party has divided in three groups supporting three different names for Chief ministership. One group which is in favour of Prem Kumar Dhumal raised slognas outside the Core Committee meeting venue in Shimla.

Meanwhile the second group wants Health minister JP Nadda to be appointed as the chief minister of Himachal Pradesh. A third group of supporters which recently emerged wants Jai Ram Tahkur for the top position of the state.

Shanta Kumar, Senior BJP Leader stated ,”Observers have come from Delhi, decision on CM will be taken soon.Raising slogans in favour of any one leader is wrong, If I was the party president I would have expelled such workers. I did not like it.”

Some media reports are also stating that the Central observers has failed to decide a name for Himachal Chiefminister, now the decision is in the hands of BJP Parliamentary board.
