New Delhi, April 8: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday released its manifesto- Sankalp Patra for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections.
The 48-pages vision document was unveiled in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President Amit Shah and other party leaders in the national capital.
In these 5 years, the BJP has worked towards providing a decisive govt, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, said Shah.
We are going forward with 75 resolutions that we can fulfill by the year 2022 when India completes 75 years of independence.
Addressing the event Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh stated “With all our promises, made in this manifesto, we are taking a step towards building a ‘New India’, “.
“We had a zero tolerance policy towards terrorism, it will continue till terror is not eliminated completely”.
Singh further said that “We reiterate our position since the time of the Jan Sangh to the abrogation of Article 370.We are committed to annulling Article 35A of the Constitution of India as the provision is discriminatory against non-permanent residents and women of Jammu and Kashmir”
The manifesto promises to give Rs 6000 yearly income support to all farmers, under Kisan Samman Nidhi and pension facility to small and marginal peasants after 60 years of age.
It will provide short-term new agriculture loans up to Rs. 1 lakh at a 0% interest rate for 1-5 years on the condition of prompt repayment of the principal amount.

Earlier in a day, Union Minister Arun Jaitley launched BJP Logo and Tagline for election campaign.
