Manoj Tiwari, Member of Parliament from the Bharatiya Janata Party, tested positive for Covid-19 on Thursday. He is under home isolation in Delhi.
The former president of BJP’s Delhi wing took to Twitter to urge all those who had come in contact with him over the past couple of days to get tested for the virus.

Tiwari, who is also an actor and singer, stated that he had had a low-grade fever for two to three days before getting tested on Thursday. He said he is in contact with a doctor.
Earlier, on April 15 and 16, Tiwari was in West Bengal to campaign for the BJP in the state assembly election. He had held a road show in Barrackpore and campaigned in Kolkata.
Meanwhile, Delhi reported 26,169 fresh Covid-19 cases and 306 deaths in 24 hours on Thursday. The positivity rate is 36.24 per cent and there are more than 90,000 active cases in the city.
