BJP accepts defeat in Delhi polls but Manoj Tiwari still claims of to win 55 seats

New Delhi, Feb 11: BJP Delhi Chief Manoj Tiwari is not convinced with the Delhi Assembly election results and is again claiming that the saffron party will win 55 seats.

“I am not nervous. I am confident that it will be a good day for BJP. We are coming to power in Delhi today. Don’t be surprised if we win 55 seats,” Tiwari said.

But the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems to have accepted defeat and has put up posters at its Delhi party office saying that it is not discouraged by defeat.

Soon after the Delhi Assembly poll trends showed that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is winning with a clear majority,

A poster in the Delhi BJP office has a photo of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and reads ‘Victory doesn’t makes us arrogant, defeat doesn’t demoralise us’.

Delhi BJP leader Manoj Yadav said that this is an old poster and it should not be linked to the Delhi Assembly election results.
