New Delhi, May 7: BCCI has confirmed the Men in Blue to participate in ICC Champions Trophy 2017 after prior threats of pulling out of tournament.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has given the thumbs up for the Indian cricket team to play in the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy, conveying a conclusion to all current hypothesis about the the team’s participation in the tournament.
This decision to send the Indian team was taken at the Board’s Special General Meeting (SGM) in Delhi today.
Senior official Rajiv Shukla informed that the decision was consistent with nobody raising objections.
“The acting secretary Amitabh Chaudhary has been given full power to converse with ICC and arrive at a deal that is best for BCCI. We would prefer not to seek after any lawful case and don’t need an angry approach,” said Shukla.
