Barsana: Adityanth says I am a Hindu, when asked where will you celebrate Eid now

In last 11 months, I have not stopped anyone from celebrating any festival like Eid or Christmas. Everyone has the right to religious freedom.

Barsana, Feb 24: When journalists asked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath where you will celebrate the festival of Eid, after celebrating Diwali and Holi, he said, “I am a Hindu and everyone has the freedom to follow his faith, so even I am free to follow my faith”.

“In last 11 months, I have not stopped anyone from celebrating any festival like Eid or Christmas. Everyone has the right to religious freedom”, he added News 18.

While inaugurating ‘Falgunotsav’ in ‘Atulya Gram Lohvan’ in Mathura Adityanath played the drums and stated that the Holi celebrations of Braj will now get exposure at global front.

He also said that people of Mathura-Vrindavan should be proud of the fact that their history here is more than 5000 years old.

UP CM along with his dozen of ministers participated in Lathmaar Holi.
