Once again two terrorists were arrested in Baramulla area of Kashmir on Saturday. As per the media reports, the two terrorists from Hafiz Saeed’s Jaish-e-Mohammad were arrested in militant outfits. Arms and ammunition including one AK-47 and one pistol were recovered from them.
Tension at the border was particularly high since yesterday at border over ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir and infiltration bid supported by gun-fire across the border. Pakistan Rangers suddenly opened fire to provide coverage to an infiltration attempt near the Bobiyan village of Hiranagar sector in Kathua, but had to flee back because of heavy retaliatory fire from BSF troopers positioned near the infiltration prone border.

Pakistani army also violated the ceasefire on the LoC in Rajouri sector even as Indian army foiled a major infiltration bid in Poonch sector.
Officials reported that there have been 30 ceasefire violations across the LoC from January to july 31, 2016. However, previous year 152 ceasefire violations were reported on LoC, while 2014 witnessed 153 ceasefire violations from Pakistan.
