Nanjing, Aug 5: Indian shuttler P.V. Sindhu lost her second consecutive final of the Badminton World Championships to Spain’s Carolina Marin in just 46 minutes in Nanjing on Sunday
The Spaniard absolutely dominated over her opponent in the second game, to win her third World Championships gold title with a 21-19, 21-10 scoreline.
Rio Olympic champion Carolina Marin, who became the first women’s singles player to win three world titles, while Sindhu had to settle for a silver medal second year in a row.
Sindhu was leading 11-8 at the break in first game and then 14-9.
