ATS team seized old currency notes worth Rs. 2.70 crores from Rajasthan

Rajasthan: ATS(Anti-terrorist squad team) on Saturday late night seized Rs. 2 crores 70 lakh of old currency notes from the house of a garments trader in Rajasthan’s Surajpole.

According to ANI the ATS of superintendence police Vikas Kumar was informed that old currency of Rs. five hundred and thousand were being exchanged at the home of a garments businessman Sanjay Jain.

After that, the ATS team immediately took action and reached his house and detained three people including home guards.

During their investigation, the ATS team recovered two thousand and five hundred notes worth Rs. 2 crores 70 lakh from the house.The team took Sanjay Jain Ramprasad and his home guards jawan Bhagwan Singh to Ramganj Police Station and where they proceeded with the interrogation.
