After this Jaitley addressed the people over political killings and ongoing tensions in Kerala.
In his address, Jaitley he said “this kind of violence will neither suppress ideology in Kerala nor it will be able to scare our workers”.
Jaitley’s visit comes on the same day when Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan called the all-party meet and a day after CPI(M) and BJP-RSS leaders met in Kannur to discuss the political killings and immense ideological dissent.
Meanwhile, kins of CPM workers who lost their lives or injured during similar violent clashes with RSS workers staged a sit-in protest outside the Raj Bhavan.
