Army ready to release Surgical strikes footage

New Delhi, Oct 5, 2016: Sending a hard-hitting reply to Pakistan’s denial over the surgical strikes conducted by the Indian Army in PoK on 28 September, the Indian army has provided a 90-minute video to the government.

The release of the video would rest all the clamours demanding “proofs” to the surgical strikes conducted by Indian Army to combat the terror sponsored from the neighbouring state.

According to the eyewitnesses living across the LoC, bodies of those killed during the surgical strikes were carried away in trucks for burials. The eyewitness also gave details on some of the locations targeted during the surgical strikes and information which the governments of India and Pakistan have not made public yet.

However, Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has denied India’s claim of surgical strikes and termed it cross-border firing.

On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal demands the proof to negate the propaganda by the Pakistani media that no surgical strike took place.

Earlier, senior Congress leader P Chidambaram said it was up to the government to give proof of the surgical strikes conducted on September 28 night in which the army destroyed seven terror launch pads in Pakistan-administered Kashmir.
