Anyone who calls Indian Army ‘Modiji ki sena’ is a traitor: VK Singh

Union Minister VK Singh reacted to his party’s leaders’ controversial remark, saying the Indian forces cannot be called ‘Modiji’s army’ and anyone who describes it thus is not just wrong but is a traitor.”
On Sunday, Adityanath had told an election rally in Singh’s constituency Ghaziabad: “Congress ke log aatankwadiyon ko biryani khilate theh aur Modiji ki sena aatankwadiyon ko goli aur gola deti hai (The Congress’s people used to feed biryani to terrorists while Modiji’s army pumps bullets and shells)….”
The former chief of Army staff said the force belonged to the nation, not any individual.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also served a notice by the Election Commission for the comment.
“Army does not belong to an individual. Army only belongs to the nation. Where did Modi army come from?” he was quoted by news agency as saying.
