Anti-Pakistan protests erupts in PoK

Anti-Pakistan protests have erupted in various parts of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) over Islamabad’s discriminatory policies  and practices in providing jobs to local Youth.

The young protesters  raised slogans for “Azad Kashmir ”  ie “Independent Kashmir ”  by saying job vacancies are very rare  in the area,  and that also are given to  Pakistani youth  only thus marginalising Kashmiri youth of the area. The protestors carried placards which read “Kashmir Bachanay Nikley Hain, Aao Hamaray Saath Chalo”.They also raised anti-Pakistan slogans.

Jobs are being given to Pakistani youth and youngsters of Kashmiri origin are being marginalised.

Hundreds of youths  owing allegiance to the Jammu and Kashmir National Students Federation (JKNSF) along with some members of the Jammu and Kashmir National Awami Party (JKNAP) took part in a demonstration in Muzaffarabad that condemned the oppressive rule of the Pakistani authorities and the local PoK government.

Police resorted to lathi charge  and several students were detained
