Since the Budget announced last week, BJP ally and ruling Telugu Desam Party leaders have been protesting in Parliament over budget allocation to Andhra Pradesh in the Union Budget 2018.

Speaking outside the Parliament, TDP leader Jayadev Galla expressed his displeasure saying Rs 1800 Cr is what the govt gave specifically to Andhra Pradesh in the budget and Baahubali’s collection is more than that. We received less than what a movie collected. If they can treat their allies like this then many people will not want to be their allies in future.

Disappointed with the budget, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu had also called for a special party meeting to review the party’s ties with its ally BJP.
