July 2, Sunday : The Goa BJP organised a public meeting of party for party president Amit Shah at the premises of Dabolim airport on Saturday after this it became a topic of debate.
Shah is on two-day to Goa received outside the airport where he addressed party workers.
Following this, the opposition Goa Congress targeted the BJP for holding a public meeting by saying it was a “total and complete abuse of power”.
“We strongly condemn the act of the BJP holding a meeting at the Goa airport complex which was addressed by their president Amit Shah in the presence of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar,” All India Congress Committee secretary Girish Chodankar said.
Chodankar said the ruling party has lost sense of good governance by doing this act.
He also demanded the officials of the Airport Authority of India (AAI) to investigate who gave the permission to hold a public meeting at the airport complex which is a complete misuse of the power.
