Raipur, June 10 :BJP national president Amit Shah refused to answer the question raised by Congress President Rahul Gandhi on the work done by Modi government in four years.
Launching party’s campaign for the upcoming Assembly Elections in Chhattisgarh which is slated to be held later this year, Shah addressing a rally in Ambikapur and claimed that the saffron party would 65 seats in the 90-member Chhattisgarh Assembly in the upcoming polls.
Rather BJP President questioned Gandhi over his party’s performance in 55 years, “why are you asking for our account of four years. We do not need to give you any account. We will give an account of every minute and every paisa to the people when we go to them to ask for votes,” Shah, who was addressing a rally in PG College grounds in the state, said.
It is pertinent to mention that Congress President Rahul Gandhi sought an answer from PM Narendra Modi to give an account of the work done by the BJP-led government in the last four years.
The roadshow, which lasted about 45 minutes, covered a distance of around 5 kms, passing through Agrasen Chowk, Jaistambh Chowk, Mahamaya Chowk, Gandhi Chowk and Ambedkar Chowk.
