The death toll in Amarnath yatra terror attack has reached to 8 as another injured pilgrim died on Sunday.
The injured identified as Lalitaben from Gujrat was one of the pilgrims who was attacked by the militants on 10th July in Anantnag’s Betangoo area. However, the home minister Rajnath Singh and the chief minister of Jammu Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti met on Saturday to discuss the Kashmir situation.

“The Amarnath Yatra attack was carried out to cause communal tension in the state, but the entire country and political parties have stood together and condemned the attack,” Mehboob said. According to The Sunday Express that Mehbooba also thanked Singh for his statement on ‘Kashmiriyat.’
Following the attack, Home Minister Rajnath Singh had said the widespread condemnation showed how the spirit of Kashmiriyat was alive and every Kashmiri was not a terrorist.
