Akhilesh’s new campaign video doesnt feature SP supremo

Uttar Pradesh, Oct 27, 2016: Amid ongoing family feud within the Samajwadi Party, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday released a new video, as part of his election campaign.

The three-minute-and-thirty-second long video doesn’t feature party supremo and his father Mulayam Singh Yadav or any other party leader except for the CM’s wife and SP MP Dimple Yadav.

The video was released ahead of his special campaign ‘rath’ that is supposed to roll out from 3 November and will cover a few thousand kilometers.

The clip also showcases the Chief Minister as a family man, who is committed to his “bigger” family– the state of Uttar Pradesh and India.

The video opens with the line, “Every day I commit myself to the future of Uttar Pradesh” and  ended with “Uttar Pradesh, India …My Family”.

However, the entire video shows Akhilesh Yadav as the protagonist and shows all the schemes he has introduced in the state.

This video comes at a time when Akhilesh is openly fighting a political war with his father Mulayam Singh Yadav and uncle Shivpal Yadav so, it’s not surprising why no other senior leaders from the ruling party have been featured in the video.
