After threats to disrupt Shah’s rally Kahttar annouced withdrawal of cases lodged during jat reservation stir

Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal has announced that Cases lodged against Jats during reservation stir will be withdrawn.

Whereas on the issue of reservation to Jats and 5 other communities chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar said,”We’ll provide all figures to State Backward Classes Commission before 31st March, so that final decision can be taken.”

Earlier the Jat leaders warned Khattar Government that if the government will not withdraw all the cases against them they will disrupt the BJP national president Amit Shah’s Jind rally on February 15.

In February 2016 Jat quota stir, around 30 people were killed and more than 300 people injured. Police registered cases against 822 accused from which 77 cases were withdrawn by the government after the High Court’s order.
