Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani meets PM Narendra Modi

Delhi, Sep 19: Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani on Wednesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House in the national capital. 

Ghani arrived in New Delhi for one day visit to hold bilateral discussions with PM Modi on key issues of common interests.

Regional security, trade and India’s development work in Afghanistan are among the issues that are expected to be discussed during the meeting.

Later in a day, an independent research centre, India Foundation, is slated to hold a civic reception in respect to President Ghani.
