ACB officials seize Rs 4.52 crore cash, 7.5 kg silver in Bengaluru

Bengaluru, Oct 6: Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Friday conducted searches at premises of two government employees and recovered a massive amount of cash and valuables.

ACB carried out raids at NG Gowdaiah’s residence, who is Chief Engineer Bengaluru Development Authority (BDA) and TR Swamy works in KIADB.

“ACB yesterday conducted raids at 8 places in Bengaluru and Tumkur in connection with cases against government servants NG Gowdaiah and TR Swamy and seized 4.52 crore cash, 3 cars, 1.6 kg gold, 7.5 kg silver, 8 houses, 11 sites and 14 acres of agricultural land from TR Swamy”,  M Chandrasekhar ACB official told ANI.

“We recovered 77 lakh in cash, around 30 lakh in bank accounts, 18.2 kgs of gold, 10 kg of silver, 3 cars, 8 sites and 2 houses during raids at locations of NG Gowdaiah”, he added.
