New Delhi, Aug 28: Delhi has recorded a total of 945 cases of Dengue, while 339 cases of Chikungunya, as per the latest data released by civic agencies on Monday.
Among the 945 Dengue cases, 435 patients hails from National capital and 510 are from neighbouring states.
Similarly, in the case of Chikungunya, 208 patients are from Delhi and 131 from neighbouring states are undergoing treatment in the hospitals of national capital till the date.
In national capital, regions under the South Delhi Municipal Corporation witnessed maximum cases of both Dengue and Chikungunya.
Data revealed, Twenty-five Chikungunya cases and 95 Dengue cases have been reported from south Delhi.
So far Dengue claimed one life in Delhi. A 12-year-old boy succumbed to the vector-borne disease last week at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.
Delhi has also witnessed 244 cases of Malaria till the date, with 76 fresh cases being reported in the month of August alone.
