Nine people were killed and 27 others injured when a bus collided with a truck in China’s Shandong province on Friday, police said.
Following tire blow-out, the truck hit a barrier and crashed into an oncoming coach, causing it to overturn at around 1:30 p.m. on the Jinan-Liaocheng expressway, according to Liaocheng City police.
The 49-seater coach had 48 passengers on board at the time of the collision. Five were declared dead at the scene while four more died on the way to the hospital.
