8 Indian fishermen arrested by Srilankan navy

8 Indian fishermen arrested yesterday by Sri Lankan Navy have been sent to Jaffna jail. Acccording to PTI news agency Nagapattinam joint fisheries director Amala Xavier said hat the arrested fishermen, who were taken to Kangesanthurai port, were from Nagapattinam district and were fishing off Nedubtheevu near the Sri Lankan coast.

It is the arresting incident made by Srilankan navy in this month. Acccording to some media reports it has been examined that chinese navy is also interfering and influencing the Srilankan navy.

However, Tamilnadu chiefminister K Palaniswami wrote a leetter to PM Modi to take effective measures to solve this problem.
