New Delhi, Dec 9: At least 107 trains delayed in national capital due to a foggy morning with minimum temperature recorded at 7.7 degrees Celsius.
At least 107 trains were running late and four were cancelled due to dense fog in parts of north India on Friday morning, railway officials said.
The 12281 Bhubaneshwar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express was running 24 hours late, 12423 Dibugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express was 18 hours behind the schedule, 12033 Kanpur-New Delhi Shatabdi Express was 16 hours delayed and 12401 Magadh Express was 24 hours late, the official said.
The official said the railway has rescheduled 32 trains on Friday.
Flights operations were also affected as Nine international and 15 domestic flights were delayed due to poor visibility
“The sky will remain clear in the day with shallow/moderate fog at few places and dense to very dense fog in the isolated areas in the morning,” an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
