Bhopal. July 24: At least 500 junior doctors of government hospitals in Madhya Pradesh have submitted their resignation over demands for stipend and equipment on Tuesday.
The doctors who have resigned are from Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital located in Rewa district and Bhopal’s Gandhi Memorial Hospital.

Junior Doctors’ Association (JDA) reportedly took decision for mass resignation on Monday after meeting with medical education department officials failed.
On Monday, the nursing, paramedical staff and technicians of MY Hospital also went on an indefinite strike under the banner of Sanyukta Morcha Swasthya Karmachari Sangathan.
Due to protest, medical services at Maharaja Yeshwantrao Hospital (MYH) and other associated hospitals of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College were affected on Monday.
