Bollywood celebrity is no secret but for some, it dates back to the day they were born.
Here’s are the celebs who hail from royal families and still chose to become actors:
1. Aditi Rao Hydari
The lovely diva was born into two royal lineages, one Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari and other J. Rameshwar Rao, the Raja of Wanaparthy. She’s the grandniece of Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari who was the former governor of Assam and great granddaughter of Akbar Hydari.
This beautiful diva is best known for her role in Maine Pyar Kiya.
She belongs to the royal family of Sangli in Maharashtra. Her father, Vijay Singhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan is the current Raja of Sangli.
3. Kiran Rao
Producer and director Kiran Rao’s hail from the royal family of J. Rameshwar Rao. Her paternal grandfather was J. Rameshwar Rao, Raja of Wanaparthy, Mahbubnagar district, Telangana state.
Actress Aditi Rao Hydari is her maternal first cousin.
4. Sonal Chauhan
This diva best known for her role in Jannat comes from the conservative and traditional Rajput family from Mainpur, Uttar Pradesh. Her parents are Rajputs from Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. Her father, a police inspector is from a royal Chauhan family.
5. Soha Ali Khan
This gorgeous lady hails from the family of Nawabs. Her father, late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, was the former captain of the Indian cricket team and the titular Nawab of Pataudi from 1952 to 1971. Their parental grandfather, Iftikhar Ali Khan Pataudi, was the eighth Nawab of Pataudi and their parental grandmother, Sajida Sultan, was Begum of Bhopal. The stature of ‘nawab of Pataudi’ was passed onto Saif, in 2011 after his father’s demise.
