New Delhi, November 8: Owing to a medical emergency on board, Jet Airways on Tuesday said that it had to divert one of its flights to Karachi in Pakistan.
As per the Airlines’s official statement flight 9W 202 (Boeing 737 aircraft) with 141 passengers on board, operating between Delhi and Doha, was diverted to Karachi after a medical health emergency was reported by a passenger.
“One of the guests developed a medical condition and the captain decided to land at the nearest airport given the emergency,” the airline said in a statement.
However as plane landed in Karachi the passenger succumbed to death. While medical assistance was duly provided.
The aircraft returned to Delhi on Tuesday morning.
