1 CRPF jawan killed in IED blast in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma

Chhattisgarh, Nov 22, 2016: One Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer has been killed and Soldier has been wounded in an IED blast in the Chintgufa area of Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district on Tuesday.

The blast was triggered by an improvised explosive device, officials said. It was reportedly a naxal attack.

The martyred officer was sub-inspector in 74 battalions of CRPF.

The injured soldier has been identified as head constable Sudhakar and has been rushed to Jabalpur for medical care.
